Saltwater Taffy is a unique laundered linen check fabric from Merchant and Mills with a varying design from selvedge to selvedge, which can be used to add a border to the bottom of skirts, dresses, or curtains. Above the border, checks are .8" by .8" (2 cm x 2 cm), with taller boxes at the border edge. The colors include shades of flame orange, sunflower gold, royal blue, melon, and mauve.

This linen fabric is grown, dyed, and woven entirely in Eastern Europe, where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric. It is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before being woven, and laundered, meaning it is tumbled at the mill for softness.
