Perfect for summer makes! This is a super lightweight cotton in blue and white woven in West Bengal, India by a cooperative of traditional artisans. The threads used to make the fabric are space dyed, and the weaving creates it's beautiful, criss crossing pattern. The fabric is very lightweight, slightly translucent with a crisp drape, perfect for breezy garments on hot summer days.

Handwoven fabric is different from machine made! You may find color variations, slubs, ties, and other irregularities in the fabric. The grainline may not be perfectly square in places. This is part of the unique nature of this special fabric; a characteristic to enjoy and not a flaw.

This fabric is sold by the HALF yard, so quantity of 2 equals 1 yard.
